Reviews from Lord Taylor of Glencoe
Commando Dad: Neil Sinclair, June 30—July 1, 2014
My rating: ♦♦♦♦◊
While this is a fun theme, Sinclair does present this dad-orientated book in a make friendly way; it is put together with the concise bullet points that fathers will appreciate.
The content itself isn’t deep, nor does it pretend to be. The chapters cover the likes of feeding and potty training at a very novice level. This book would ideally suit expectant fathers who are looking for a bit of an overview of what’s to come. Existing parents will find little that is new.
One of the best aspects of the book is Sinclair’s positive attitude. He assumes his reader to be a Commando Dad, an elite. And so he writes with aspiration and confidence in your abilities. No father could fail to be inspired and refocused by the powerfully positive spirit Sinclair invokes.
